About

ShowStages is a video and design collective. We build narratives through projected media and interactive audio-visual experiences. We work in theatre and new media, creating unique shows and events. Founded in May 2012, ShowStages is based in Alberta and has worked in theatres and venues across Canada.

Recent projects include Mary Poppins at The Globe Theatre Regina, the IGNITE conference with the Edmonton Economic Development Corporation, and the award-winning Category E with the Maggie Tree.

To support and cultivate multimedia creation within the theatre community, ShowStages provides workshops and rentals at theatre-friendly rates.

ShowStages consists of Erin GruberJoel Adria, & Elijah Lindenberger.

T. Erin Gruber

A Canadian theatre designer with experience accross all elements, Erin places special emphasis on video and lighting for collaborative new work and movement-based creation. This year, she was the Assistant Video Designer at the Stratford Festival working with Sean Nieuwenhuis on Des McAnuff’s TOMMY. She recently opened a three show repertory season at the small but mighty Watermark Theatre in North Rustico PEI doing the lighting and projection design for Alice in Wonderland, The Shorefield and Rondelay.

Her love for collaboration has lead her to building two collaborative companies and creating with them two original shows- Dark in a Sunlit Room, and ECHOES, both presented as part of Edmonton’s International Fringe Festival. She loves new work- between 2011 and Present she has designed for 10 world premier productions.
Recently she attended the Broadway Projection Design Master Class in New York City and in 2011 exhibited at and attended the Prague Quadrennial Conference.

As a founding member of the Show Stages collective, she generates video and graphic content and collaborates with directors and choreographers.
